Anti-windfarm fruitcakes often claim livestock are driven crazy by infrasound from wind turbines. Just look at all these sheep getting as far away as possible from the toxic things!

Wind farm construction is pretty low level and spread out. Mostly trenching and track making. Deep footings for the towers and an electricity substation or two to connect to the grid
Sorry, no information on whether construction is especially disruptive/deadly to birds. Not heard that before - generally about turbine blade strikes after operation commences
Also have noticed that cows love knocking the plastic caps off the foundation bolts.... So they have no issue being next to them when they're online as well.
As for cropping ground, here's a satellite pic of the Murra Warra Wind Farm.
Turbine, access roads, and hard stand take up negligible amounts of real estate, especially when the amount of money landholders are paid until their rental agreements are factored in.
This reminded me of my drive from Melbourne to Canberra on Sunday and how on multiple occasions, I saw livestock camped under large canopy trees, in otherwise near treeless paddocks. Animals love shade as much as us.

(This is also a very sad image, demonstrating how animals arbitrarily labelled "livestock" can be refused shade in the first place)
