At this point, I’m just wondering why other EU officials are treating Orbán with silk gloves instead of simply excluding him from military aid if all he wants is to achieve peace with a flower bouquet. Just say it to his face: he is and will always be Putin’s puppet—and a tiny dictator.

Is a war really that unlikely? If US decides to attack Greenland (which isn't too far-fetched these days), Putin can get more aggressive. What'd be left of NATO would be hard pressed to fight both maniacs.
Such anti-European despots encourage their friend Vlad Bloodin to expand. And Russian expansion, unfortunately, means brutal war. You can see that in Ukraine. Orban WANTS to be blind.
