Your parents are still alive (yay!), so you won’t need death certificates. However, your great-grandmother’s info will be tough to acquire because she was from Eastern Europe. Governments changed like the weather in those days. If you’ve got the wherewithal, you can do it.

Linda acquired Italian citizenship through our marriage, but she found out her mother was born before her grandfather was naturalized. However, you’d have to get certified copies of marriage certificates, birth certificates, and death certificates of parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents.+
