my father recently had to do one and after he exited he asked "who am I and what year is it" ... I think my mother was on the joke immediately ... the doctor... not so much :).

The first one I got, I was genuinely so disoriented getting up. Now I practically run out, I got stuff to do lol

My best MRI experience was my cardiac MRI. It was like an hour long and I ended up falling asleep until they rudely woke me up by pushing contrast and making me hold my breath.

Worst was my neck because they strapped my head down to the table and it hurt like hell

I've had 4 (5? I think I'm missing one) in my life and yeah, the noise definitely is a shock at first.

I love that the techs give you music you can't hear lol

My very first one was so humbling too... in a way
let's just say that i wasn't really aware which side to put my "medical gown" and ... yeah, i was wrong :)

Yeah one of my best friend who's literally a radiologist told me that it happens quite often so i didn't feel so horrible making that mistake, we should say that it's almost THEIR fault
