I was raised in the fundamentalist, evangelical cult of the Southern Baptist church in Mississippi, starting at 6 yo. I was a victim of every abuse you want to name. It took me almost 40 years to unbrainwash myself into ACCEPTING that I was born a witch & it's not EVIL. THEY were the evil ones.

Sorry to hear about that. Trauma taught while a child can be near impossible to unlearn. Glad you got out of the direct pain of that belief system. What do you more specifically believe? Traditions you like to focus on? Practices or pantheons?

The craft found me as a boy. I left. It called me home and never gave up on me. I answered and now I wonder why I left. I feel almost ashamed that I ever left.

Witchcraft. I know I've lived before. I know I've been married to the same woman in different lifetimes. I know we had trouble with the Romans and Christians in later lives.
I know there are beings in unseen dimensions close to us.

Eclectic means a mix, sort of drawing from whatever seems to work. I would refer to myself that way. With no one single faith being the only place I draw from.

For me, was loosely raised Christian. Saw many churches in the world that made me feel the only reason I was still Christian was out of fear of Hell. My sister helped me think about it, nature seemed right, faith followed.

My first God that I started with was Baal as a fire Deity. The way I worshiped felt very transactional. Eventually got into the dualistic nature of Wicca. I first got into Paganism when I was around 12-13. As time went on, I blended my Native American heritage with Celtic and Norse beliefs.
