When traffic levels increase and you refuse to make upgrades like this, after councilmembers push back or nearby businesses complain, you're actually cutting bus service.

Extending bus-only restrictions along Third Ave into Belltown would have benefited more than 80,000 daily bus riders, saving them a collective 230 hours every day.

Despite the upgrade being touted by both SDOT and Metro last year, it's no longer moving forward.
