I wish I could still apply.. I renounced to apply even if I entered the UK before Dec 2020 but then left on 30 June 2021 without presettled status and now commuting back and forth on EU visitor visa waiting things change or I will apply for the Global Talent Visa if things don’t change.

It should work out as I fall under the eligibility for it but I am still debating whether to pay more than 6000 euros … it’s a lot of money and they are greedy with the HIS! At least they should change the rules for EU citizens and make a simplified visa system for EU vs non-EU.

Wow! That's a crazy %. Don't know what the sit. was like in Spain, but in Italy, the only difficult thing was getting an appointment for the Carta in some police stations, the documentary part was easy for the vast majority. Any probs seem to have been local officials not getting/reading Govt. info

Overseas representation is really important, I wrote to my MP, in the constituancy I vote in and am registered to vote in and the response I got was simply "if you don't live here I can't communicate with you" make that make sense

Yes. We are partners and work with New Europeans, Lib Dem’s Abroad, & others on the Campaign for overseas constituencies. It’s the next big campaign by issue for Brits abroad. Almost 1 in 10 Brits are. Our current representation, compared to the French for example is quite lacking to say the least.
