Each trust has department called "Overseas finance". This department across our NHS is responsible for identifying those without valid NHS numbers or NI numbers who use the Hospital. If you are found to be ineligible you are charged. Outstanding debts to NHS, mean Border control are informed.

As well as those people responsible for issuing visas and citizen rights in the UK. They are informed. Outstanding debts to the NHS are chased. If you dont pay, you will not be allowed to travel and if you do , will not be allowed back through Border control until you do or make payment plan.
