I.G Farben... ran over 140 slave labor camps.. One of the major companies of this Industrial Group was Bayer; the inventors of the aspirin tablet and Zyclon-B .. the gas used in the gas chambers.. The company was never punished and remains a global conglomerate.
Klaus Mann was the son of the incredibly gifted novelist, Thomas Mann. His father's novella, Mario and the Magician (1930), used allegory to demonstrate the dangers of Hitler's dictatorship. He left Germany in '33, had his citizenship rescinded by the Nazis and emigrated to the US in 1939
