The gift of anonymity is one not appreciated by the modern internet these days. Being seen by a lot of people means that there are a lot of people looking at you and you can't control which ones. The thoughts of having a sudden boost in popularity is a nightmare to me.

I don't see how the "big accounts are obligated to boost small accounts" attitude doesn't backfire. If I were a big account, I'd just feel like anyone smaller than me had an agenda in talking to me.

Like, just be genuine and nice on the Internet! It's not hard!
