This is absolutely crazy. TL;DR Honey is a scam to get PayPal money for affiliate marketing. And Honey Gold is just them giving you like 2.5% of the affiliate payout.

I feel like this is a thing where I seea bunch of ads/promo stuff for a thing on YouTube and wherever before eventually someone drops a video saying it was shady. I can't wait for the one in three years about the Pie Ad Blocker.
Yeah. On one hand, making really annoying ads to promote their ad blocker is a real 5d chess move on paper. At the same time, it makes me want to use any other ad blocker than them.
