Anyone that has an Art Discord Server should make using these a bannable offense, btw

Discord has apparently added generative AI "apps" users can use to modify any image posted in any discord server.

On by default, no way to disable them, no moderation tools.

Fuck discord, support artists (discord sure doesn't).

I'm so mad. discord is one of those applications I can't just remove from my daily life. absolutely pissed that they've forced this on us.

As a server mod (friend server, but still) I couldn't find any way to restrict ppl's access to it unless it falls under "Use Application Commands". But in that case, users would also be unable to use normal function bots.

That sucks. I've already had a rule in my servers that people can't post A.I. images. I'm making it clear that I count those things as falling under that category. Thankfully, no one's tried them out yet.

I noticed the symbol on images I had posted but didn't know what it was until now.
