Had to look up some of the terms used.All I know is that I've had 9 shot,waiting until I can get number 10. I've never had Covid even with being in the same room as my friend who had full-blown Covid and breathing down my neck in bed. Caught myself,and stopped visiting my grandkids,saw them 1 day.

It's worth noting that this interferon response was only found in about a quarter of the highly-exposed but not-infected people.

(i.e., the second "some people" you reference is a small subset of the first "some people")

I'd be super keen to see the correlation between these early responders and incidence of long covid! One would predict the rates should be very low, but sample size is perhaps too small to draw firm conclusions?
