A: Racism. Non-white accomplishments are plentiful, but are often invisible.

All of my Black History month questions are examples of real questions that I've been asked over the years, by people that genuinely wanted to know.
It's not their fault that they didn't know these things. The truth had been hidden from them. Quite effectively I might add!
Seriously.
They get very pedantic about the difference between vaccination vs variolation, but not very pedantic about the terms "MMR," or "live attenuated vaccine," or "return to virulence."
I usually don't have to say anything about this one myself, because math nerds are some of the fiercest nerds.🤷🏿♂️
