My GOP representative swore we would get our SALT exemption reinstated and he absolutely rolled over. However he’s absolutely unresponsive. No town halls. Not even zoom town halls. I call but it seems worthless. He needs to challenged but then there is NY Dem party that has written off our district.

Yes, and no. Staffers are required to tally the calls and the topics. There will be a number at the end of the day that they can choose to ignore at their own peril. It also forces staffers to reconcile with what their rep is supporting, which can lead to staffers pressuring their rep.
