I'm surprised by this with how accessible getting into comp videos are on youtube like DUDE's videos, which for many was their way to get into comp.

update: there's now a total of 190+ applications for Season 1
what this shows is that lots of people are interested in comp splatoon, but don't know how to get involved
I love the SBA, but they can only accept as many as they can hold (way less than the amount of applicants)
