Confused about the "why" for this. Shutting down Biden's initiative doesn't seem adequate. Plenty of dark possibilities, probably dumb to even speculate though, nothing makes sense.

They are also planning on scrapping the EPA, and with deregulation, cancer-causing pollution will increase. As with CoViD testing being halted in R states that did no confinement/stay-at-home, they don't want cancer testing detecting increasing rates. How do you do that? Defund any cancer programs.
Only being partly flippant in wondering if the tech billionaires have convinced him bench science is no longer necessary. We will cure cancer using AI.
