It's not a boycott for me. It's a change in shopping. I don't shop where I'm not wanted, my friends aren't wanted and my community is not wanted. Target is no longer relevant to my consumer spending. Let the cis straight white males that Target prefers shop there.

Yes, boycotts work. The original problem remains. A corporation thought it was ok to do this and has only succumbed due to financial pressures, not enlightenment, that it was wrong in the first place. Permanent no.

The retail boycott only works if it is well organized and persistent. People won’t boycott the pervasive oligarchs like Amazon, Facebook, etc., without an alternative. Bluesky needs some upgrades. What replaces Starbucks? Home Despot?
