I believe that Gale would have made an excellent gnome, and would have added to the diversity of bodies. I have yet to try the mod to change his species. His verbosity, flair and sophistication is very gnomish ✨💜⚡

Could even add a dimension to his pursuit of Karsus & his Netherese legacy, considering Netheril enslaved gnomes for centuries to work as craftsmen & inventors. Yes!! There are so many compelling gnomes in the game. The devastation he would feel from meeting the unfortunate gnomes of BG. Imagine Gale, an oblivious privileged gnome from Waterdeep, always had the best, fell from grace, evolving into a mage trying to prove himself and his people.
