I had taken a lot of input/LENA stuff at face value back in the day (and even wrote a paper using input measures) bc this kind of critical perspective was lacking. Thank you

I hope you don't mind me jumping in, but I've just read this and it should be compulsory reading in dev psychology. It's crystallised some thoughts I've been having, as a language dev researcher, speech therapy lecturer and late-diagnosed autistic person. Thank you for writing it!
