Sadly, I think there is no coming back for USA. The soft power you had build up after WW2 has inexplicably been spilled within a couple of weeks, and all illusions of USA as a trustworthy partner and ally has evaporated. A different President in four years won't fix any of that.

I agree. What seemed inconceivable to most of us growing up is now possible-this empire will break up and new superpowers will emerge in the world. That is unless we go down with nuclear war. It’s just insane and hard to face daily. What most of us loathe is that we know he was voted back in-morons.
