βοΈπ The Center for Countering Disinformation stated that the Azerbaijan Airlines plane that crashed in Kazakhstan was shot down by a Russian (!) air defence system.

We will know the truth.. Russia will smugly and arrogantly deny it. The UN will issue a strongly worded statement for everyone to ignore.
The families that have lost loved ones will never be apologised to, or even financially compensated for their loss. ππ’
When will the world wake up to the reality of what Russia is? It is a terrorist regime. It will be a marginalized backward nation for as long as Putin remains in power. It is way past time for regime change there.
Time for the Azeris to take back their stolen lands from Moscow and support their oppressed Muslim brothers and sisters living under the colonial yoke of Moscow
It was even worse. Not only the Russians shot an AA missile at a civilian airliner, but they denied it's request to land in ANY Russian airport, jammed it's nav system and told it to fly across the Caspian Sea to a closest non-Russian airport.
TLDR - they tried to erase evidence by having it sank.
#Kazakhstan has previously shown no will to repel and protect against Russian influence in the country.
So having Russia shoot down aircrafts in Kazakh airspace, must be just, what could be expected.
ItΒ΄s of course an irresponsible approach and the citizens should worry for a genuine attack later.
Better than what I heard from my eX. It was an exploded oxygen canister. Also Russians said it was a weather balloon at one point. Iβm glad I donβt believe everything I read.
I did notice the punctures in the aircrafts skin deflected inward, witness marks to an external explosion. I'm a pilot and aerospace engineer if that helps to clarify something for you π
It was definitely clear that the original attempts to lie about it were false. You can see itβs a shrapnel pattern of something exploding outside. The stories the media were pushing were ridiculous!
I saw a video taken of the plane and it certainly looked like the wing was riddled with bullets. On a more positive note, the pilots are heroes. It's amazing anyone survived.
10/10 for Embraer too β aircraft took a Pantsir up the clacker, made it back across the Caspian and almost half the assengers walked away from that fireball. Thatβs a pretty solid airframe.
Looks like Russia denied their requests for an emergency landing, forcing them to fly over the Capsian Sea. My guess is they hoped it would go down over the water to hide the evidence, but the pilots seem to have been damn good to get the plane as far as they did.
So have several aeronautic engineers, air force engineers & pilots and a retired crash inspector in EU countries.
Also this French fighter pilot willing to go to 90% certain. https://youtu.be/GoWhN0MQm3U?si=8tGvOkexLIq9XinI
Why not the free world has shown itself to be scared and spineless of the mighty Russian empire with their array of Chinese buggyβs and latest North Korean tech
Not only shot down, sent on a suicidal diversion over Caspian Sea to land... those heroic pilots did one hell of a job keeping that seive in the air long enough to put it down. No hydraulics, steering using the engines I read. Landing that... after a huge diversion. That's first class airmanship...

It's not even 24 hours.
And whoever owned the aircraft, most of them are leased.
I mean, there's a freakin' special military operation going on here, people!

The pilots, RIP, absolute unconditional respect.
