Denies shooting down civilian airliner, but really
want to brag that their top of the line air defense system actually managed to shoot down something.

Anyone noticed " Flock of birds" as the cause was taken down within 24hrs by the Russians..
❗️He said pilot was offered other airports (there's a clear trick here, because the plane was NOT allowed to land either in Minvodi or Makhachkala), so he decided to fly to Aktau on his own (where he was actually also sent from the Grozny control center).
The Azerbaijani flight authorities need to publish the recording of the exchange between the pilots and the Russian flight controllers to show that Russia is lying. The flight recorder will have all the details
Of course, who wouldn’t wish to fly an airliner with air defense damage across a huge body of water that offers certain death if crashed into! Much better than landing at a local airport or flying back along the coast to Baku.
