🇺🇸🇪🇺🇺🇦 The US might not abandon Ukraine once Donald Trump takes charge. European allies have become cautiously optimistic that the new US administration won’t force Kyiv into premature negotiations with Russia, - Bloomberg

Putin no longer has a hold on Trump who won the election and doesn't need him anymore. Trump detests losers and Putin is weak in his eyes, loss of Syria, 300,000+ soldiers KIA or wounded & military sucks! Zelensky will buy American gas/LP/diesel & US military equipment with Russia $& develop weapons
I resist speculating on anything regarding Trump. He's at the mercy both of his addled wits and of his addled advisers. Putin is an expert at playing Trump (Zelensky is learning, but still bears the taint of not agreeing to feed dirt on the Bidens.)
🎯
I think this is the only hope, & if Zelenskyy can convince Trump that he can be the Great American President who wins the war that Biden flubbed. A Ukrainian defeat could be framed as Trumps Afghanistan; a humiliation thst will mark him as a loser.
Trump set up Biden for the Afghanistan failure! He dealt with the Taliban w/o the Afghanistan government. He allowed the release of 1,500+ prisoners. He reduced the troops and set the withdrawal date for May 1 hamstringing the w/d of military equipment and civilians. Trump rewrites history.
So am I. But I won't celebrate until Trump has had the one on one meeting with his sponsor in the Kremlin. Never listen to what Trump says, but look at what he does.
European politicans are proned for wishful thinking...Trump is Putins bitch and he will sell Ukraine out, one way or the other... everyone is normalizing that Orange-rapist motherfucker suddenly...

That’s because Trump now has no other option. If he pulls US support, the war will not stop, it will continue and get worse and more desperate on both sides. Which, of course, will make him look bad, incompetent, and WEAK. He looks stronger then to continue and even step up support.
In private talks with Trump’s incoming team, European officials have kept pushing for continued support of Ukraine, and Trump’s team appears to have let go of claims of ending the conflict in a day, shifting to what European allies consider to be a more reasonable timeline of a few months.
Sensible of the Trumpist officials to persuade their revered, idolized, leader that one day was a touch short notice! However, concessions to Putin are unacceptable on whatever timescale.

While this does mean he plans to support Ukraine after his inauguration, it doesn’t mean it in the way Europeans seem to think.
He is not Ukraine's friend at all. I wish he was, I wish we could trust him but he is a duplicitous liar, grifter & not on team USA.
