It was put out but Ukraine hit it again a few days later. There's still loads of tanks there not damaged, I'm sure they will repeat again. They will probably expect Russia to move more air defense there and hopefully they can take some of it out.

This doesn't stop the oil exports, they pipe that to the ocean and load it on ships. This is to take out their refined fuel, their oil waiting to be refined, and make their logistics as far as refueling is concerned screwed up. Plus it's expensive, 10s-100s of millions in fuel burned hurts.

An oil depot is hardly as valuable as a refinery or a large electrical transformer station, but at least the location checks out.
