As well as withdrawing it's troops from Ukraine Russia should be made to pay fullreparations & rebuilding costs to Ukraine before anyone talks of normalising relations never mind rejoining G7
And only after they have paid for all the damages they did and apologise to the entire world for fucking up like they did and promise to never meddle in other countries again. Or after they all commit suicide. They can choose. I am willing to compromise on that.

russia is an empire, not a nation. it cannot become democratic unless it gives independence to all the peoples it had absorbed. if it does though, the current center will lose all the appeal to the regions that own the major resources. hence, they won't ever do it willingly

Put back the Iron Curtain.
First all the troups need to leave all occupied areas, just like it was until 2014 when the G8 became the G7.
Second, reparations need to be at least agreed on.
Lastly the Ukraine needs to be in NATO or have an ironclad security force.
