I don't know why people dislike Kellogg. He is one of the most sane voices, in a sea of crazy, and his daughter runs a company that has provided aid to Ukraine since the first day of the war, and is frequently in Ukraine. He likely understands things better than any politician, which is lacking..
UK news says it's because Kellogg disagrees with Trump's statements against Ukraine, and knew if he did a Press Conference he'd either have to lie for Trump and say he agreed, or lose his job.
According to Sky News in UK they asked for this because they knew Kellogg would be questioned about Trump's disgusting anti-Ukraine statememts, and he knew he couldn't answer as he knows Trump is wrong.
