I really hope so. Europe has all the potential to shed herself of US dependencies. I think this is a great opportunity for Europe and allies to take the steps needed approach the US from a position of great strength! They really need to expedite their satellite communications project.
There is no chance to remove all US depencies, USA paid all the brains, USA have all the technologies. But that's not the point. It's market. We can pay for it. Yes we can make some backup systems to avoid strategic disadvantages but global cooperation is the priority. I believe in ballance soon.

There's a problem that we wasn't under dictatorship as you did. Some of our elder are extremely selfish from communist times. They're voting for someone who gives them all. And also they don't care what's happenig with the country. We're expecting bad times, but still believe in EU.

I am no body language expert, but this looks to me like a confident, intelligent president compared to a dim, out of his depth president. Meetings with other presidents are one of the few situations when Trump cannot fully control the situation.
My mom has Alzheimers dementia, and what I notice in 47s expression and responses are what she did when she didn’t know what was going on but hid it with bland clichés and nodding like she understood. He fakes it too, and it’s horrifying how he represents us and other countries have to play along.
