I just had an epiphany: rather than ask for guarantees Ukraine should demand two things: support (money and design licenses for weapons) and tacit permission for a nuclear program. Promises to come to their aid if attacked are not credible and won’t deter putler

It’s possible that putting enough European soldiers at the front to guarantee a war if attacked could work, but would also guarantee that putin tries to do to those countries what he’s done to the USA.

Traditionally, due to batshit RoE, these "peacekeepers" have only the role of observers and are not allowed to even stop a truck full of armed soldiers.
Its been so far most opportune to completely ignore them and drive your tanks around them on the way to war.

Ukraine is entering into the WH through the breach successfully opened by Macron and Starmer. FOTUS now knows Zelenskyy has true allies. As much a Krasnov wants to please his master, EU commitment to UKR negates the threat of isolationism. Well done!
