It's a bit better if you consider we weren't buying Teslas even before this sh*t. Even after a 70% drop in Germany, we're still buying far fewer cars (15k GER vs 5k ITA in 2025).
For Sweden, January was only the start. Tesla sold almost 68% fewer cars in March 2025 compared to March 2024 (917/2838) and March is usually a top-selling month. https://www.car.info/
Ireland's are up a few percent (to a volume of about 500 cars).
Delivery times are real long because we drive on the left here and importing UK cars isn't easy anymore.
Here the list of the 25 most sold electric cars brands in Europa for February 2025 in comparison to the year before. Tesla was down -44%
I think in March it was down -74% for Switzerland. People feel ashamed to drive swasticars.
Still way too many twats driving them on the road in the UK. Usually really arrogant drivers. Cut people up all the time etc and drive like arse holes.
Cant wait for Eutelsat to become a real competitor to Starlink. Musk has shot himself in the foot more with that than with Tesla, but there's just not the competition to switch to at the moment.
Manufactures can make up their sales targets by pre-registering vehicles. They are shown as vehicle sales, but is basically the dealerships buying their own cars, not customers.
They are added to βnew cars salesβ and then sold off later heavily discounted.
Thanks. I figured there might be some special factors behind the small decrease in UK sales. Italy's problem also isn't hard to understand. Its ruling party has a pro-fascist history.
Can only speak for Austria, but all journalist changed to bluesky believe on Dezember 17th or some like it. Also the European Press should have done the same on 20th Jan/Feb. - the day Trump got into office.

Thanks for the link !
But I think the timing could not be worse for Tesla.
They have more competition than ever before and a new model coming.

Teslas were never well made to begin with.

With the tariff situation, I thinks itβs going to get worse.

They can do better
How long Tesla will be able to sustain losses and keep the deliveries working....
The only way a Tesla won't get bricked in the next few years is going to be charging you to keep your car running.
Any other business would dump Musk and re-brand ...
But, for Tesla, the high P/E is because Musk is seen as a "rainmaker" CEO
Nobody in Europe can say the same thing. OmG this is mo words!
But even so, it's sad - if not wholly surprising - to see the UK clinging onto their swastikars while the rest of Europe mostly steps away.

Huzzah! Tuck Fesla!!!
Huzzah! Tuck Fesla!!!
The numbers from the Baltics must be small because in Finland, which is approximately 2-4 x larger, we're talking double-digit sales per month.
Sales could be down to single digits by the end of the summer.
Teslas aren't cutting-edge technology nowadays!!
