There is no chance the Nudol could hurt the Starlink constellation via kinetic impact. There are many thousands of satellites and Orcistan might be able to make a handful of Nudles. However, a more significant threat would be a single nuclear detonation in space, which could fry everything in los

Oh believe me. A few satelites would be enough, the amount of debris thrown into orbit this way would make everything on that orbit effectively dead. LEO would become unusable for a couple of years at least. However that would include Russian satellites as well. It's M.A.D. but dummer.

I don't think he would go the route of a nuke EMP over a continent where these satellites reside though, that would invite retaliation. If you detonated even a smaller nuke in space above a land mass it would fry electronics over much of the land mass, not just fry the satellites.

Blowing up a defunct satellite is something I've always felt Putin would do if he faced a loss in Ukraine due to Western aid. He obviously can't nuke anyone due to retaliation but he could scatter so much debris in space it starts a chain of satellite destruction. Doubtful the West would retaliate.

This could create a lot of debris, blocking a certain orbit. If done too often, it might create spheres, where not satellites can exist. It could kill Starlink or other offerings.

ASAT missiles are a profoundly bad idea but fortunately I think every country with space access fully understands that.

I think Starlink satellites could be disabled in many other ways than explosive warheads and I imagine that's the actual game plan.

Well, I would not think Russia can build conventional interceptors faster than Starlink can launch satellites. Having said that, only a few more hits on satellites in these orbits will be enough, to make space a very unsafe environment for all objects. Too many splinters…
