I’m not foolish enough to believe this will change minds, but it’s important for history that statements like this are made so everyone knows where people stood.
Wow. Some (relatively) plain speaking, great to see. The transatlantic aspect is, sadly, a bit of a dodo right now though.
But clearly declaring that the aggressor should not be rewarded, and going against Donny's friendship with Putin in the process, is a watershed moment.
Waste of breath. It is better that US walks away now, and that Europe stops trying to persuade them to stay. America is going the same way as Russia-being destroyed from within by fantasists.
These are the voices that matter. The USA should not dictate what Ukraine should accept any more than Russia should. Ukraine's voice matters. It matters the most.
