In our area of Madrid got power back about 10pm, blackout started at 12:32pm. My take is that it was a computer glitch, like what happened in US airports a few months back. Someone uploaded something that caused 60% of the power to disappear in 8 seconds .

Parts of Lisbon have recovered electricity and mobile data starting at a little before 21:00. Other parts of the country have recovered hours earlier, depending on their closeness to the power stations designated for black-starts.
