a lot of people act like trans participation in women’s sports is some kind of impossible needle to thread but it’s actually just great? everybody wins if we reject wholesale the idea that anyone should ever have to prove that she’s a woman! everybody gets to play sports! there is no down side
like if there is a choice between [nobody has to prove their sex] and [some people might have to prove their sex but hopefully not me or my friends] you choose door one ffs
honestly like actually blows my mind that some people think that an arbitrary idea of “biological” fairness in sports competitions is more important than the right of trans people to full participation in civic life
Their everyday identity revolves around dictating in fine detail who gets to be what. They are only happy with big thick sharpie lines constantly being refreshed
