He will never admit his tariffs, DEI, fighting with other countries, laying people off, and general other fuckery are tanking the economy. Never his fault and his cult will lap it up.
Almost like there is some sort of horrible double standard. I call Trump Scrödinger's President. As he only takes credit for the good (responsible or not) and always passes blame for the bad he causes.
I am more impressed that Trump was able to ruin an amazing economy so quickly. Usually it takes a year or two for economic policy to hit, but tariffs and instability speed ran that old notion off a cliff. The Trump economy is awful, and it is all 100% his fault.
Republican talking heads are already saying that "Trump inherited a disastrous economy,” or words to that effect. I don’t doubt that conservatives will believe him.
Most worryingly of all, he actually believes this sh*t he spouts, he genuinely thinks he's infallible, it's precisely why he's never made a dime, in his own deluded mind he never makes mistakes, and therefore has never learnt anything from any of them.
Biden's economy/legacy was better until he ILLEGALLY allowed a Nation Under God INSURRECTIONIST to Secede him! Biden should have used an official act to disqualify him and then force Congress to either remove the Insurrection disability by 2/3 vote in each House or find trump unfit or Ineligible!
They even knew (and they meaning Trump, his administration, Republican senators & house members, foxnews and all right wing pundits & networks) all knew Biden’s economy was good, but they know trump’s base MAGA and republican supporters in general will believe what they’re told by them
What is the fulcrum point to which, even Trump, cannot get away from the fact it is Trumps fault when markets drop.
He took credit when markets grew in Biden's administration (even when he was wasn't running for election) and now he blames Biden when it drops when it is plain as day Trumps fault.
Stock markets don't represent 'the economy' and the 'the economy' doesn't represent the people.
Biden did control inflation post COVID, but he didn't do anything to reverse it. Though businesses did restart hiring, dropping unemployment down, it did start trending up again midway through his term.
Trump: “We inherited all of the problems you know. At some point a few months down the road we won’t be able to say it’s so much us but the big things really we can blame other people for”. Right from the lunatics mouth. All bad things will be blamed on someone else. Did not make that up.
The campaign should have emphasized that President Biden inherited Donald's inflation (the highest in nearly 40 years) and used flexible math to show it was lower under Joe than under Donald.
