I’m a state employee that has access to FTI. We just had to renew our training to confirm that we know how to disclose and handle secure data and that if we are negligent in handling we can face criminal and civil prosecution - PER - violation. Easy to say I’m resentful given Elon’s unlawful access.

My son is a computer security consultant. He worked for the DIA for a while and got a top secret military security clearance. When his firm pivoted him to do some work for the IRS, he had to get an additional clearance because "top secret" was insufficient for the IRS info.
