Milo and Liffey haven’t been to a beach in far too long. They’ve assumed the position (across my shins, on the sofa) after their morning frolic on a windy but sunny Bratton Camp, Wiltshire.
Having a frolic in the sun is nice whatever the temperature (‘cept when it’s too hot for *any* dog to be out on a walk - something that doesn’t often happen around here). So say Milo & Liffey, anyway; and they should know, being frolicking experts…
Smelling smoke is never relaxing!! I will keep all my paws crossed the fire stays under control. We had some weird rain this afternoon, with the sun shining and the hot wind blowing. I can't figure out this weather.
I know - the weather is weird right? Those big rain drops fell on us while we were walking an hour ago. Nice and cool. 💧
The firefighters managed to get the fire under control after a few hours. They had 32 trucks there 🤩 The Hoos are feeling very grateful & lucky. More hot weather ahead though. 😬
What sort of temperatures do you get in winter? We’ve had such a dreary grey cold winter that we’re hoping spring comes early & summer is sunny one. My tail seems to have got its wag back but not sure if it’s because of the painkillers, hopefully on the mend. You take care with them 🔥 🐶🐾😘

But having a frolic in the sun is nice when it is cold. 🌞
We have a bushfire about 10kms from our place so HooMum feeling very tense. 😬 Meant to be under control now so hope it stays that way. 🤞
