A big part of why I wanted to be on an actual play was to make the asexual representation I wanted to see in the world and I got to do it on Otherwhere, especially important to me was to have the character actually say they were ace out loud.

I told a young queer asexual superhero coming out story a year before DC did and 2 years before Marvel did!
It was really important to me to have Juni's coming out story not be a "one and done" situation. Coming out is a process and asexuals deserve stories about that too.

Ace characters having a history of being cold or robotic is a big part of the reason why Mystic, a character who is literally powered by her emotions, being canonically asexual was so important to me

While I worked really hard to make explicit asexual rep in 2020-22, now since 2023 I've been working on a project with multiple asexual cast members that I'm even more proud of @someplacetobe.bsky.social. We're very queer and bring the same characters into multiple ttrpgs!
