I called my dad about this one π€― He's an aeronautical engineer, and worked for Boeing (back in the 70s) as well as Cessna and Cirrus.
He did not have any insights into how the heck this would happen. I am so relieved most of the passengers are walking away from this!

A Delta flight carrying ~80 passengers from Minnesota appears to have crash landed at Toronto Pearson Airport. No casualties reported as of this time. Numerous photos and videos have been released showing passengers safely exiting the plane, which flipped upside down. At least 8 people injured.

Also...people saying "oh we have plane crashes all the time", yeah NO. There have been more big serious ones lately.
It'll be interesting to see what sort of pseudo-science explanation comes of of this crash.
