Here's one more bit of info and one of the highlights of my entire life. Taking a sailboat down the Intercoastal waterway I came to a lock in what I believe is named Dismmal water swamp canal.That was the first job Washington had as a surveyor to survey. The guy there was sooooo friendly,informative

I heard what was coined a recording of George Washington. I was trying to find English accents in founding fathers and found one that if it was him showed George Washington spoke like we do today. America. Accent. Not British. It blew me away.
