Vaccines do not cause autism. This has been thoroughly debunked. Also, I know I have plenty of company on this one, but it sure is not great to see the president of the United States talk about you as if there is something wrong with you.

The worst part about my mother is that she still believes this nonsense despite her opposition to said president otherwise. No matter how much I try to change her mind, she refuses to believe me...
Definitely get vaccinated behind her back. Polio will not wait for her to feel better about it. Tuberculosis will not wait and we already have an outbreak of that. Rusty metal is not what gives you tetanus, dirt and dirty places can give you tetanus. Vaccines are vital to your health.
True. Though I fear she'll eventually find my vaccination card... maybe I should move away from her. If only I didn't suck at living independently and alone...
Are you an adult? Perhaps get vaccinated at a pharmacy? No pharmacy vax I’ve had has shown up automatically on my chart. If you’re on their insurance you may have to pay OOP to avoid an EOB to the parents, though.
My daughter is 23 and was diagnosed 20 years ago. This rhetoric existed then, too, and the 1 in 10k stat is not accurate for that time anyway, it was more like 1 in 120.
I like being autistic. I was autistic before I was vaccinated. I can read over 600 words per minute and have read several white papers on this and they all come to same conclusion we all know is true. Conservatives need enemies to survive.
The guy who came up with the idea that vaccines cause autism was a vaccines salesman trying to discourage a specific vaccine to encourage more sales and his co-partner was permanently banned from medical practice before they even made that shit up and I never see that being talked about enough.

FWIW there’s so much wrong with him…
Because they didn't know how to detect it, not because it wasn't just as common as it is now
