I have no idea what that graph actually shows but I would assume any actual difference between US government spending on geothermal and those other technologies is because the private sector isn't sufficiently interested in geothermal power to do its part to obtain more government support.

Allocation of funding does not mean actual deployments. Virtually none of the hydrogen funding has actually been spent, it's just allocated. Hydrogen Hubs won't be spent until 2027+, and the tax credits were just finalized.

One good selling point for geothermal to the current administration is that it puts to work oil and gas experts - it can be sold (not that it is) as a jobs program for drillers.

There are very few geothermal resources in the US. Barring any big discoveries, it is unlikely to be a major energy source.
