“The companies that the CFPB oversees are actually some of the biggest and most powerful,” says Rohit Chopra, former director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. “They would want ... a lapdog rather than a watchdog.” https://cbsn.ws/4kahkjc

Thank you for an excellent view into how this administration is dismantling the agencies that protect everyday (not millionaire) Americans. Keep up the great work!
"It's pretty suspicious"?? It's obvious! Musk is getting into electronic payments through X. He is cratering the agencies that would obstruct the expansion of his empire.
It's incredible how naïve Americans are. To let it get it this bad.
Kudos and hats off to 60 Minutes for not being afraid to actually bring us the important issues with the new administration. Keep up the good work and keep bringing to light these things that trump would surely rather remain in the dark.
Elon Musk and Putin are playing The Felon Russian spy Krasnov. They are laughing at his impotence against their own evil. You see Krasnov sinking and speaking irrationally.
The CFPB was created to save consumers from being defrauded by big banks, big credit card companies, and big tech. Trump called the employees "radical-left bureaucrats."

That jerk with the grin from Cato needs to learn how to be respectful of others.
