Yes, except now that corporations are people cuz citizens united, majority and minority no longer relates to number of actual PEOPLE who vote for something. It now means how many DOLLARS vote for something. It's not that democracy has died. It's that democracy is no longer a matter of people numbers
I wish that was true. But it’s also all the white people of all demographics who vote for and prop up the billionaires. If we don’t fix that they’ll never lose power.
Well, in the meantime, we can go after the 92M non-voters, 18m of which are registered Dems. That might be more doable than reversing the decades of brainwashing that created the MAGA mindset.

Yes, thanks. May I suggest that there could be more reasons than apathy. So many people I talk to are convinced that all politics is nasty and neither side is right. The GOP has given us all a very bad reputation. It’s not apathy, it’s disgust and contempt for what they hear. We need to fix that. 💙🙏🏼
I know many people who refused to vote for Biden because of how he was handling the Gaza bombing. They refused to see that not voting for Biden WAS a vote for Trump.
I'm of German descent, whiter than snow- I have voted Democrat all my life. I already feel the need to apologize to Jews and black people, now I gotta apologize to America for being white....oh well
No one’s asking you to apologize for being white. I’m saying if you look at who voted for Trump it’s whites. Of course many didn’t, but every time the majority do, and there’s always an excuse.
