Part of what I found startling about this post was the shade being thrown at Strauss for being "anti-Christian." I don't know if V. does that explicitly somewhere, too. Schmitt's devout Catholicism is part of the appeal for some of these people, I take it.
But the practical bottom line is they're talking about their little fan club for a literal real deal unapologetic card-carrying historical Nazi. It's the faux intellectual version of slapping 1488 on your user name.
