Sadly, significant historical events can get minimized by those in power. I recall Soviet era airbrushing that erased people from history
But Marsha was active in starting Act-Up and over 50 activist groups in NYC.
Nobody knows who threw that first brick. I like to think it was an unnamed Trans woman.
