She gains magical girl transformational powers (think PreCure or Sailor Moon) and is able to transform into a female superhero to fight evil in a variety of cute ways.

During her time as the female superhero, of course some guy takes an interest in her, and the two fall for each other. (2)

But she thinks he will only fall for her because she is cis-female in this form and wouldn't want her if he knew the truth. So, as much as her heart yearns to be with him, she keeps her distance, even though every time they are together, they get drawn closer and closer. (3)

And, of course, something would happen where the two of them would cross paths when she is not transformed as well, and so she would have to interact with him as her male-presenting self while trying to hide everything they have and what she feels for him. (4)

What happens when he finds out? How does he find out? Will he still love her? How will he see her after that? Would he even want to be with her as a transfemme and not a cis-female? All of the drama that could go into this! (5)

Of course, this is very much a self-insert story I was coming up with in my head as a young transfemme trying to figure out who and what I was. And I think a lot of these questions are things that all trans folk think about, or at least a lot of us do. (6)
