Yeah, I mean, this almost certainly won't even change anything in Germany. Not with the GroKo at the helm, and especially not with Friedrich fucking Merz in the chancellor's position.

It feels like someone is continually trying to prove that people will stop working if they get UBI. And when the facts don't support that fear, there's "not enough evidence and we need to do more testing." It's really freaking frustrating.

I mean it won't work if it goes fullscale. Because of capitalism. "Everyone gets an additional income? Then let's lift the prices!"

This is not me saying that UBI is bad, just that it cannot work in a system that requires some people living in poverty

Well, bettering everyone's life without work would be Immoral. Unless they're already rich and thus have proven worthy, o'course.
