Such a great book. I’m a public servant and followed the whole Robodebt saga closely but I still discovered things I didn’t know from this book. It should be essential reading for all public servants.

I suspect the book will be very good - well-researched, well-written - but devastating in the picture it paints of immoral, unethical, compassion-less and generally incompetent government. I couldn't bear to read it.

Rick is a very engaging writer. He speaks from his heart, but his wit often shines through.

I also recommend One Hundred Years of Dirt, and My Year of Living Vulnerably: both touchingly personal, but great reads!
