It's Ukraine's fault Russia attacked them is the same as it's Canada's fault America is threatening them is the same as it's the woman's fault her boss sexually harassed her, albeit at different degrees.

How? I don't see it.
Nothing like US missiles moved into Turkey or Soviet missiles moved into Cuba, nothing like the US naval blockade nor nuclear brinkmanship. The Cuban Missile Crisis resolved without war; Russia has been attacking Ukraine for 3 years leading to about one million casualties.
The US was involved in the coup in 2014, Zelensky was unable to end the war in the Donbas when he won big running on doing so, Obama refused to send Ukraine weapons saying Russia would always have greater interests there than us, and Russia's concerns in the Minsk […]
Calling a leader abdicating after months of protests following his efforts to end free speech and free assembly "a coup" is absurd. And pretending that Ukrainians couldn't have wanted rights on their own, they had to be tricked into it, is ridiculous.
I am not saying they were tricked into it. the people wanted different things in that country and we got involved to help topple an elected government. and civil war broke out. then we sent in weapons and helped train their military.
I think to at least SOME extent we need to acknowledge that the split between Western Ukraine and Eastern Ukraine and which direction they respectively wanted to move in precipitated this crisis such that we should view this invasion as somewhere blurring the line of civil/international conflict.
I will take your word for it. I just remember reading articles about the eventual break up of Ukraine in Foreign Affairs back during the first Yanukovych presidential election attempt which caused the orange revolution.

I think the better analogy is the Cuban Missile Crisis.

And I still don't see the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Donald Trump is saying if Ukraine hadn't dressed so provocatively Russia wouldn't have invaded her.
